Law & Order
"The Patriot"
(Episode # 277)

This episode could not be more relevant (it ran today, Nov. 25 '02, a few hours after George Bush signed the document creating the new Department of Homeland Security). In clear terms the key issue of society's response to the fear of terrorism is explored. The casting of Terry Serpico as the "patriotic" Frank Miller was excellent, portraying a single minded drive to pursue the ends he believes in, by any means, regardless of the suspects rights. You''ll like this episode if you can deal with this hot button issue and remain open minded and rational. We could use many more like to clear the air of the daily propaganda dished up on FOX, CNN, CNBC etc.

Law & Order
"American Jihad"
(Episode # 277)

I have been a loyal fan for many years and I can say without exception there has never been a more dramatic episode than the season opener the American Jihad. The story, the acting, the timeliness all made for what I believe will be 2003''s best of any series presentation. Great job!
